Materials Testing & QC
Key services provided by our WAQTC, ACI, or ODOT-qualified Engineering Technicians include sampling and field or laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt pavements. Our team maintains, calibrates, and operates the testing equipment, including portable nuclear densometers for in-place density testing, and a fully outfitted mobile soils and asphalt testing laboratory.
One of the exclusive benefits of proHNS’s mobile analytical chemistry laboratory is the ability to conduct onsite Acid Rock Drainage (ARD) testing in mining operations. proHNS uses Acid-Base Accounting to conduct static testing of acidic material excavated on project sites. The remote location of mining sites—especially in Alaska—can result in costly time delays for testing results. However, with our team, rather than shipping samples off-site to a lab outside Alaska, proHNS’s mobile laboratory delivers a 24-hour turnaround for clients’ materials testing needs.
