Eddy earned his first material testing certification in 2009 and has been working in the quality control field ever since. Specializing in bridge, highway, and airport projects, he has performed laboratory and field testing on state and federally funded projects across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and North Dakota. He is accustomed to working on State Department of Transportation projects with demanding schedules and limited work windows.
For the past three years, Eddy held the Quality Control Manager position for a Salem, OR-based firm where in addition to performing testing duties, he was responsible for bringing multiple labs up to DOT standards. He also coordinated with plant operators to ensure mix designs met project specifications for transportation projects across Oregon. Eddy joined proHNS in 2021, and spent the construction season serving as a Materials Testing Technician on AK DOT&PF’s Gustavus Airport Runway, Apron, and Taxiway Pavement Rehabilitation project.
