In tandem with celebrating four years at proHNS this June, Ethan Roemeling, PE has accepted a new position of Senior Civil Engineer. Originally from Juneau, Ethan began his engineering career in Alaska in 2013 after graduating from Washington State University.
Ethan joined the proHNS team in 2020 and has quickly become a cornerstone of the firm’s continued success. Over the past decade, he has honed his skills in project management, construction administration, field inspection, and civil design. Ethan’s systematic and disciplined approach to design is paramount in his success, but his progression as a team leader and passion for mentorship paved the way for his new role at proHNS.
In recognizing Ethan’s accomplishments, Principal Engineer Lucas Chambers, PE said, “I want to congratulate Ethan on his promotion. Since joining proHNS Ethan has impressed us with his attention to detail, technical skills, and desire to tackle challenging projects. We have been preparing Ethan to take on more project and client management duties, which he has proven fully capable of handling, and I know he is more than ready for the added responsibility. While we will still ask Ethan to continue to produce high-quality design packages, in his new position he will be responsible for managing our Haines Borough projects and proHNS’s Haines engineering team.”
Ethan will continue to be based out of Juneau, where he and his wife Sarah raise their two young daughters and the family’s golden retriever, Sugar.
