As the prime consultant, proHNS is providing civil engineering design for this CBJ project that will upgrade the Lee Street pump station to maintain operating pressure and provide fire flow to a nearby subdivision. While our subcontractor Haight & Associates handles electrical design, proHNS staff will locate prior hydraulic analyses, collect flow data at existing fire hydrants, determine system pressure requirements for minimum and maximum curb pressures and fire flows, and assess pump station components for potential reuse. proHNS is also responsible for providing construction cost estimate and specifications.
After awarding the Lee Street design contract, CBJ made the decision to combine the Lee Street project with a pump station project of similar scope – Bonnie Brae – to capture efficiencies by putting the work out to bid jointly.
