Lake McDonald Utilities

This Western Federal Lands Highway Division and National Park Service project replaced utilities in the Going to the Sun Road corridor between the Lake McDonald Lodge and Apgar Village within Glacier National Park, Montana. Specifically, this project included replacing the existing sewer force main, power, and phone in the corridor along Lake McDonald and Going to the Sun Road, replacing the lift station near the Lake McDonald Lodge, and improving the lift station at the Sprague Creek Campground. The corridor was too narrow to simultaneously accommodate tourist traffic and construction, so all work was performed at night.

The proHNS Consultant Inspector II (CI-II), working on behalf of WFLHD, ensured all work was performed according to project plans and specifications.
