The Crescent Harbor High Load Dock Improvements project is a City and Borough of Sitka marine rehabilitation project that was completed in 2026. The project consisted of timber pile repairs using pile jackets and pile wraps, timber cross-bracing replacement and repairs, steel safety ladder replacement, timber new shed column repairs, cap beam repairs, and selective cap beam replacement.
proHNS delivered construction administration and inspection services for the Crescent Harbor High Load Dock Improvements project. The team documented daily activities and progress, coordinated with stakeholders, verified conformance with all plans and specifications, and maintained thorough, accurate records as needed to support construction administration and project closeout. Eric Strong, PE, served as the proHNS Construction Inspector and coordinated closely with the contractor, Dawson Marine, to facilitate efficient inspections, resolve any field issues, and ensure construction progressed as scheduled.
