Owner: City and Borough of JuneauproHNS provided construction contract administration and inspection services for CBJ’s West 8th Street Reconstruction project, extending from ADOT’s Egan Drive to the new Whale Park. The project improved storm drainage, updated and replaced water and sewer systems, installed curb and gutter, and reconstructed the roadway typical section. Connection to the existing water main along Egan Drive was performed under an ADOT ROW/Utility permit, a process our staff of former DOT employees was very familiar with. We also coordinated contractor activities with all adjacent property owners, including businesses and state agencies affected by the road closure.
