Troy embarked on his career in the Alaska construction industry in 2009, starting on the ground floor as an Apprentice Mechanic and Shop Laborer for Miller Construction Company. By 2013, he had proven himself and earned the Superintendent position on Glacier Highway Phase III project, and subsequently became Miller Construction’s Assistant to the General Manager. From 2016-2017, he reprised his role as Superintendent on Ketchikan’s Shelter Cove Road before joining Glacier State Contractors as a Skilled Laborer/ Operator/Mechanic in 2018.
Over the course of his career, Troy has consistently demonstrated a commitment to hard work, due diligence, and exceeding expectations. He joined proHNS as an Engineering Technician in 2021 and now primarily performs construction inspection on our Southeast Alaska projects for clients such as the City and Borough of Juneau, Haines Borough, and AK DOT&PF, among others.
Troy is certificated in Alaska Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead #AGC-21-0367, PPT HDPE Pipe Fusion, Western Alliance for Quality Transportation Construction Technician #1457 (AKSAM, EBTT, DTT), ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I, Troxler Compaction and Density Testing Certification and Nuclear Gauge Safety Certification, USDOT HAZMAT, and maintains his ATF Explosive Handlers Card.
