Lexi Rodriguez-Padilla joined proHNS in 2025 after earning a degree in Environmental Engineering with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Washington in Seattle. Graduating with Interdisciplinary Honors, Lexi is a leader both in and outside of the classroom. During her studies, Lexi worked as a Teaching Aid for a former University of Washington professor, helping other students strengthen their understanding of Environmental Engineering principles. She also spent years in academic mentorship roles, guiding students at her alma mater and through her local high school. Additionally, Lexi is skilled in AutoCAD and WaterCAD programs and bilingual in Spanish and English.

Lexi found proHNS through the firm’s expansion into Washington state and her interest in our work with clients in small and remote communities throughout Alaska. As a child of Mexican migrant workers, Lexi is passionate about designing innovative engineering solutions that address climate challenges in environmentally impacted and underserved communities. She also credits the company’s support for work-life balance and its commitment to workplace culture, as these align with her professional goals to earn her Engineer-in-Training (EIT) designation and pursue a master’s degree in the future.

Outside of work, Lexi stays active in her community as a longtime Girl Scout volunteer and enjoys expressing her creativity through baking, gardening, and upcycling thrifted finds. She is also an avid traveler—with Greece being her favorite destination—and loves collecting vinyl records of all genres.
