Karlee Miller, PE is a dedicated civil engineer with over a decade of experience in project management, engineering design, and construction administration and inspection. She joined proHNS in our Ketchikan office in 2024, applying her background in resolving public infrastructure needs to the Tongass Avenue Improvements project, and others in the nearby communities. Before joining proHNS, Karlee held multiple engineering roles within the City of Ketchikan, excelling as a Project Engineer in both civil and electrical disciplines. She has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage, is a licensed Professional Engineer in Alaska, and is an Alaska Certified Erosion and Sediment Control Lead.
Karlee’s foundation in permit acquisition includes collaboration with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, FEMA, AK DOT&PF, and the ADF&G. With the resounding success of past projects like the Schoenbar Culvert Rehabilitation and Tongass Sewer Force Main Rehabilitation, Karlee showcases an aptitude for navigating regulatory requirements and diverse stakeholder management.
Karlee is enthusiastic about contributing to the future of Ketchikan, where she was born, and now raises her own children along with her husband Joe. In her spare time, they enjoy getting outside, camping, fishing, and hunting with friends and family.
