Estela Arroyo joined proHNS in 2025 as a Project Engineer supporting Federal Highway Administration and Western Federal Lands Highway Division (WFLHD) projects across the western US. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Houston–Downtown and brings a versatile background that spans geology, engineering, project management, and field operations.

With more than seven years of experience in project engineering and project management roles, Estela has built a diverse background across multiple industries and project types. Her career began in the oil and gas sector as a Wellsite Geologist before transitioning into infrastructure and public works projects. She has coordinated projects with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Harris County Flood Control District as a Project Manager with the Student Conservation Association in Houston and later served as a Project Engineer on multimillion-dollar projects for agencies including the Federal Highway Administration and TxDOT. Whether mentoring new engineers, improving estimating processes, or supporting field operations, Estela approaches each challenge with a focus on collaboration, efficiency, and delivering quality results.

Curious by nature and driven by a love of learning, Estela enjoys tackling new challenges both professionally and personally. Outside of work, she can often be found hiking, leading climbs, or taking a cold plunge after a day in the mountains. A former soccer player, she brings the same team-oriented mindset to her hobbies that she does to her work, valuing strong relationships and shared success.
