Amy began her construction management career in 2005 with an Alaska-based engineering firm, where she worked as a consultant on Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (AK DOT&PF) infrastructure improvement projects. She primarily filled the roles of Project Engineer, Construction Inspector, SWPPP Inspector, and Office Engineer on airport, highway, marine, and bridge projects spanning all three AK DOT&PF regions (Northern, Central, and Southcoast). Amy’s well-rounded experience and active certifications (WAQTC, AK-CESCL, ATSSA) allow her to simultaneously fill multiple roles on a single project. Her expertise includes paving inspection, erosion and sediment control, traffic control, and basic surveying tasks, making her a valuable asset and versatile member of any project team.
Amy joined proHNS in 2018 to work as an Office Engineer on AK DOT&PF’s Wrangell Evergreen Road Improvements projects. She spent the 2021 season performing construction inspection on an Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division (EFLHD) roadway and bridge reconstruction project in Missouri’s Ozark Mountains, and is currently inspecting the reconditioning and repaving of WFLHD’s McNamara Road project near Missoula, Montana.
In her free time, Amy sails, knits, paints, and spoils her pet beagle.
