proHNS provided office engineering and materials testing for this project that constructed a sidewalk along the ocean side of Evergreen Road and rehabilitated the existing asphalt pavement. Specific work items included installation of six Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) walls constructed of concrete block and geogrid layers, totaling roughly 4,500 square feet; one reinforced soil slope constructed of layers of borrow stabilized by geotextile fabric and geogrid; 65 culverts totaling about 3,000 linear feet; and 80 concrete headwalls to stabilize the inlets and/or outlets of some culverts.
