Due to the diligence of our Lead Designer Lucas Chambers, PE, we were able to meet the tight schedule on this City and Borough of Juneau project that rehabilitated the existing pavement surface, improved surface drainage facilities, and replaced portions of the sanitary sewer and water utilities on D Street between 2nd and 5th Street and on H Street between 2nd and 3rd Street. Design elements also included replacement of concrete curb/gutter and ADA curb ramps. Project challenges, aside from the quick turnaround, included managing steep grades and locating/tying into old existing utilities.
proHNS also provided contract administration and inspection services on this project, which was completed in Fall 2019.
